KESSLER-ZINK is a private owned winery with a long tradition in winemaking in the heart of Rheinhessen, the biggest wine regions of Germany.

The winery has existed since 1969 and nowadays is one of the top 15 biggest wineries in Rhineland-Palatinate.

VARIETALS: 90% Chardonnay, 10% Sylvaner

Nose:
It has a fresh and expressive nose, opening with aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple and white peach. Subtle floral notes of white blossom are complemented by a gentle mineral edge. The Chardonnay adds delicate creaminess, with hints of vanilla and soft oak spice creating depth and elegance.

Palate:
The wine is well-balanced and vibrant on the palate, combining lively acidity with a smooth, rounded texture. Flavours of citrus zest, orchard fruits and a hint of herbal spice unfold gracefully.

Best Drinking:
This Cuvée Blanc is drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop positively over the next 1–3 years.

With good balance and acidity, it may gain additional complexity with careful cellaring.

Our Cuvée Blanc brings together the fresh clarity of Silvaner and the structure and elegance of Chardonnay.

Gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation preserve purity and aromatics,
followed by a short period on fine lees to enhance texture and complexity.

The result is a harmonious wine that reflects the mineral character and vitality of Rheinhessen, offering both approachability and depth.

VARIETALS 90% Cabernet Sauvigon, 10% Dornfelder

Nose:
The expressive and inviting bouquet features aromas of blackcurrant, ripe cherry and blackberry. Subtle hints of violet, dark chocolate and spice are complemented by a touch of herbal freshness, giving the wine added depth and complexity.

Palate:
The palate is juicy and well-defined, with an elegant interplay of ripe fruit and smooth tannins. Leading the way are blackberry and dark cherry flavours, followed by subtle notes of plum, spice and a touch of cocoa. A fresh line of acidity gives the wine lift and clarity and the smooth, supportive tannins carry it into a dry, balanced lingering finish.

Best Drinking:
This Cuvée Rouge is drinking well now and will continue to develop positively over the next 2–4 years. Short- to mid-term cellaring will further enhance complexity and integration.

This Cuvée Rouge was created with a focus on balance, purity and elegance. Gentle handling of the fruit and careful fermentation allow the wine’s natural depth and structure to unfold without overpowering the palate. FR Château de Lamarque Donjon de Lamarque Haut-Médoc

Château de Lamarque is located in Lamarque, in the Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux. The vines in Lamarque have existed since the 15th century, but the wines were only produced for consumption for the inhabitants of the château.

Donjon de Lamarque is the Château’s Second Wine, made with the younger grapes of the property with a higher percentage of Merlot (up to 60%) and less Cabernet (40%). The Merlot could actually have been part of the Château de Lamarque blending but that would change the traditional Cabernet dominated blend of the first wine. The wine is aged in French oak barrels (all coming from the French region of Allier) for about 12 to 14 months before being bottled. The picking of the barrels is extremely meticulous, being guided by the idea of respecting the harmony between the oak tannins and the wine tannins. Every year the pairing is different. Traditionally 2 vintage-old barrels are used for Donjon de Lamarque.

APPEARANCE
Ruby red color with purple reflections.

NOSE
With aromas of black fruits and dried herbs, Donjon de Lamarque is a fleshy wine that offers vanilla notes and underwood aromas.

PALATE
It presents a well-balanced body and a great length on the palate. Perfect balance, the tannins are present with a fruity character which ends with a beautiful finish.

AGEING
The wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in 2 vintage-old oak barrels from Allier region.

PAIRING
Pairs well with grilled red meats, game and spicy dishes.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
Drink now or keep for 5 to 10 years.

FR Brotte La Fiole Père Anselme Viognier

The Legend of La Fiole dates back to 1952 after a meeting between a winemaker from Châteauneuf du Pape and a renowned glass artist from the region. Together they imagined a bottle with curved shapes, reminiscent of the vines of old Grenache vines bent by the Mistral wind. Much more than a simple bottle, it became the ideal bottle for a great Châteauneuf du Pape wine.

VARIETALS: 100% Viognier

APPEARANCE This wine has a sumptuous intense golden yellow colour, both brilliant and expressive.

NOSE On the nose, a beautiful freshness mingles with a remarkable aromatic intensity. Notes of apricot and peach harmonise with floral nuances of jasmine. With time, this bouquet evolves towards more complex and suave aromas, evoking dried apricot, acacia honey, quince and very ripe peach.

PALATE the attack is fresh and supple, revealing delicious flavours of apricot and vine peach. With age, the texture becomes richer, giving way to generous notes of dried apricot and honey, which lend beautiful depth and great richness.

PAIRING: Served at 10-12°C, this Viognier is the perfect accompaniment to exotic, slightly spicy dishes, fish in sauce or blue cheese, bringing out its evolving flavours and elegant texture.

FR Château Piganeau, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC

The property owes its name to the illustrious owner who lived there in the 19th century. Mr. Emilien Piganeau taught plastic arts at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, and was a municipal councilor in St-Emilion for 3 terms. Coming from a family of Bordeaux bankers, he was passionate about drawing, painting, but also archaeology, history and poetry. The property was acquired by the Bruno family in 1978.

The vineyard is located in the Pierrefitte menhir area, near the Dordogne River and the old port of Saint-Emilion.

APPEARANCE
Beautiful ruby color, with bright reflections.

NOSE
Open nose with aromas of ripe black fruits, delicately woody with a touch of mint and vanilla.

PALATE
The palate is smooth, richly fruity (cherry, strawberry) and slightly spicy until the generous finish, supple while having a certain structure. Château Piganeau offers a profile more oriented towards elegance than power.

AGEING
50% of the blend for 12 months in French oak barrels (1/3 new barrels) and 50% for 12 months on French oak staves.

PAIRING
White meats, duck, red meats, cold meats and cheeses.

READINESS FOR DRINKING
To be enjoyed from 2 to 12 years, at its peak between 4 and 10 years.

Delta Estate focuses on hand crafting wines that are expressive and true to their vineyard roots. Our wines are elegant, modern and restrained, highlighting characteristics from the vineyard’s terroir with minimal wine making influence. We aim to provide consumers with exceptional wines that are expressive, distinct and true to the terroir.

Delta Estate was founded in 2000 by three prominent wine industry veterans and good mates, who had spent evenings drinking wine and discussing the potential for exceptional and unique Pinot Noir in Marlborough. Using their collective extensive viticulture and winemaking expertise, they found a site that was ideal for growing high quality Pinot Noir in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys. This became the founding Delta vineyard, planted with high quality Dijon Pinot Noir clones. As other vineyard sites were identified for their unique characteristics, Delta has grown to incorporate other grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Understanding that different grape varieties perform best in different soil types and microclimates, the Delta Estate philosophy is to produce wines that give a real expression of the terroir on which they are grown.
