The Casa Ermelinda Freitas is dedicated to wine production since 1920 with 445 hectares of vineyards situated in Fernando Pó, a privileged area in the region of Palmela.

TASTING NOTES: The Sandstone Shiraz by Casa Ermelinda from the Península de Setúbal reveals a dense, purple-red color in the wine glass.

The first nose of the Sandstone Shiraz presents notes of blackberry, sour cherry, blueberry and redcurrant. The fruity notes of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing and even more fruity, balsamic nuances.

This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar.
