Riesling has always been one of the most important white wine varieties in Württemberg. Not as high in acidity as in other growing regions, but usually endowed with a pronounced minerality and crisp fruit.
80° Oechsle. The healthy grapes (harvested relatively early in September) were taken directly to the press and gently pressed as whole grapes with low pressure. This was followed by cold fermentation at max. 16° for two weeks. The young wine was aged in stainless steel containers to preserve its freshness and fruitiness. This was followed by a second fermentation (sparkling wine production) over 9 months. Bottle fermentation.
Light gold in the glass. On the nose, hints of citrus fruits, mango, and peach. Juicy and fresh on the palate, with delicate exotic fruits and perfectly balanced acidity.
A great aperitif or accompaniment to antipasti, spaghetti all’arrabiata, or seafood.
