Appearance
Deep, translucent garnet with slight bricking at the rim, indicating a beautifully evolved and mature wine.
Aroma
The nose is complex and expressive, heavily shaped by its patient cellar aging. Prominent aromas of dried sour cherries, dark plums, and crushed cranberries are layered with sophisticated tertiary notes of leather, tobacco leaf, and forest floor. Subtly framed by an earthy minerality reminiscent of warm galestro soils.
