The Hacienda El Olmo Rioja Gran Reserva from Bodegas La Eralta is a classic expression of the traditional Rioja style, crafted primarily from 100% Tempranillo grapes. Produced in the village of Agoncillo, this wine is the pinnacle of the “Hacienda El Olmo” selection, which focuses on delivering elegance and aromatic complexity from the winery’s 360 hectares of estate vineyards.

TASTING NOTES:
- Appearance: A bright cherry red with an ochre (brick) rim, a visual hallmark of prolonged aging.
- Nose: A balanced bouquet of ripe red fruits intertwined with complex notes of spices, balsamic, cocoa, and toast provided by the oak.
- Palate: Velvety and rounded with soft tannins. Classic Rioja notes of vanilla, tobacco, and leather on a long, silky finish.
PAIRING: roasted meats, game dishes, grilled meats, and mature, cured cheeses.
AGING: 40 months in french oak barrel and further 48 months in cellar.
