The Chateau de Ribebon was once the royal hunting lodge of the French King Louis XVI
On Bordeaux’s Right Bank, overlooking the Dordogne River and the village of Pessac-sur-Dordogne, the clay-limestone soils of the Ribebon hamlet plateau form the basis of Château de Ribebon Bordeaux Supérieur. The vines have a full southern sun exposure, allowing for maximum sun to help bring the fruit to full ripeness.
ALC: 13.5%
VARIETALS: 100% Cabernet Franc
VINTAGE 2019
TASTING NOTES: Powerful, round and full-bodied. The structure is substantial, with a strong body and grippy tannins. The wine remains soft and aromatic, balanced, elegant and long in the finish. A touch of oak gives the finale a special touch.
AWARDS:
2022 Concours International de Lyon GOLD Award.
This estate has produced a well-balanced wine. Tannins and spice lie easily with the berry fruits and final touches of dark chocolate. It will age well.
