The Bodegas la Eralta Hacienda El Olmo Crianza is a classic expression of Rioja.

The family-run company has a massive , 360 hectare modern winery surrounded by vineyards just outside the village of Agoncillo, less than 10 miles southeast of the bustling, lively city of Logroño, the historical capital of Spain’s La Rioja region. The winery has more than 10,000 French and American oak barrels for ageing the wines.

VARIETALS: 100% Tempranillo

AGING: Temperature-controlled maceration for three weeks before aging for 14 months in both new and old French oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES: Bright cherry-red color and offers an elegant, “classier-than-classical” profile.

• Aromas: Intense scents of ripe red fruits (strawberry and cherry) beautifully intertwined with subtle notes of tobacco, oak, and vanilla.
• Palate: The wine is rich and rounded with soft, well-integrated tannins and a “savory glide” that maintains freshness through natural acidity.
